Today's class a shorter class because of the senior award assembly. Due to that, we had a shorter class that was 30 minutes long. In that 30 minutes we had to write two essays for our final exam. Originally we were going to have to do three essays but thankfully Mr. Schick only made us write two. I feel like I did very well on both essays so hopefully I did do well.

5/19
Today in class Kelsey's group presented their project along with Luke's group. Both groups did very well. Some of the stuff that Kelsey's group were teaching about I had never heard of. It was actually very interesting. I knew there were outside baths and hot springs but I didn't know that there is a "facility" of baths with all different kinds of baths. Luke's group taught about Crucifixion. That is also another I didn't know was some what common. I know about Jesus being crucified but I didn't know that it was an option for punishment.

Today Mr. Schick surprised us with a pop quiz. The quiz was not very hard but I got two dumb questions wrong that I should have gotten right.

Today in class Kelsey and I taught the class. We were doing a great job but a few students including Bob Schick was being very disrespectful and disruptive to the class. So we gave up the job to Stevie and Hunter. They did horrible.

Today we took four and a half pages of notes. We talked about consuls and their jobs, patrician dominance in the 5th century BCE, plebians, the SPQR, respublica, democracy, aristocracy, monarchy, Roman Legion, the three punic wars, Marcus Port Cato and so much more. It is hard to summarize the notes we took today because we took so many but those are the topics we covered. Today we went over a lot of things but I understood everything so I feel pretty good about it.
